We were looking for a reputable, honest, affordable, custom home builder in Guelph. On a leap of faith we contracted with Andrew Lambden of Terra View Custom Homes to: permit, design, build, and remove existing dwelling, while we lived out of province. The outcome? Brilliant! Terra View President/Architect Dave Brix had many, many, many challenges on this project. ( too numerous to list, ) Dave’s design looked good on paper, but in reality this house is attractive, comfortable, practicable, efficient to live in. There wasn’t an issue that they couldn’t resolve, our home was brought in on time, professionally done in every detail, and on budget, cost/square foot was very reasonable. After possession what little support we’ve needed Terra View has been there. We cannot emphasize enough, how good Terra View’s people are to work with, easy no drama; this custom home build was a very good experience for us; we’d do it again with Terra View – Charlene, Dave, Andrew, Chris – in a heartbeat. Our family had wanted to upgrade from the house we lived in for 10 years but had never considered a new home unless we could build our custom home, which at the time was unrealistic. We have built several homes with many different builders (both here in Southern Ontario and in the US). We were very pleased with our home from Terra View. We found the staff friendly, sincere and easy to work with. As with all custom homes, you often experience changes or “curves” to your original plan. Terra View was very responsive and promptly addressed any issues or concerns we had. They made sure we were happy with the end result and felt the quality of the home was excellent. We moved into our beautiful Terra View home on Waverley Drive in November and after living in it for 3 months both my wife and I want to say that we could not be more impressed with the quality of the house. I would like to take a moment to express how happy we are with our new home. Chris and I are first time Terra-View Homes buyers. Our Terra View Experience Where do we start? How about the beginning! We went to the Terra View model home sales pavilion, where we met our sales rep. She bent over backwards to make our new home purchase happen. From helping us pick out our new home to assisting us with the close of our resale home. Then we met with our architect, David, who gave us suggestions and ideas we would have never thought of. Next there was Charlene, what can I say about Charlene? Well, I don’t think there is enough paper or time to say. Charlene whom in my case had the patience and expertise that showed her many years of experience as a designer. She went beyond her duties and helped us to select our interior and exterior décor. People, who later visited our home, compared it to a model home. Our site manager Jim, was always available for any questions or concerns, and was quick to rectify any minor problems at every stage of our new home construction. In the end, our home was completed exactly the way we wanted it, perfect!! Everyone at Terra View made our new home purchase such an easy, stress-free, and enjoyable experience, that we wouldn’t think twice to purchase another Terra View home.
