GDHBA Builder of The Year!

Terra View Homes is honoured to have received two prestigious awards from the Guelph and District Home Builders’ Association’s (GDHBA) 2024 Awards of Distinction, taking home the Builder/Renovator of the Year and Green Builder of the Year titles.

This marks our fifth consecutive year being named Green Builder of the Year. Judged on energy efficiency, environmental measures and air quality; community commitment to building and exceeding requirements; green building practices implemented effectively; and company marketing strategies, our commitment to sustainability is exemplified in everything that we do at Terra View Homes—and we are proud to continue to be recognized for these efforts.

Additionally this year, we were honoured to have been selected as Builder/Renovator of the Year by our fellow GDHBA members. This award is based on a peer vote tabulation. The criteria to earn this award is made up of professionalism, charitable contributions, environmental consciousness, and contribution to the industry in ways such as volunteerism, sponsorship, Board member and community involvement.

For over three decades, Terra View Homes has been a leader in green home building practices at both a local and national level. As one of the select group of builders dedicated to building to the Net Zero standard in Canada, we have contributed to approximately 10 percent of homes labeled under the CHBA Net Zero Home Labeling Program across the country.
